Important COVID-19 Information for Substitutes
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our school community, June 23, 2020, Transition Joint Guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health requires that every employee undergo a daily symptom screening prior to utilizing School District transportation (i.e., bus drivers, bus aides/monitors, etc.) or entering any School District building. Employees, including substitute teachers, will conduct this daily symptom screening on each day prior to their arrival for work and report consistent with the parameters outlined below until otherwise notified by the District in writing.
All Naperville 203 substitute teachers must review this information about our district’s safety procedures before taking any assignment - Return to Learn Health and Safety Protocols.
If a substitute takes an assignment, he/she will certify that they have reviewed the health and safety procedures and are free from any COVID symptoms specified in the letter.

GNC Tutorial Information Sheet
All substitutes are required to watch Training Tutorials through GCN Training or receive the training through an approved alternative means. http://site.gcntraining.com/
Some positions may require additional mandatory training. Please contact Human Resources at (630) 420-7201 if you are unable to access the training site.
