  • Yearbook Delivery

Thank you to our volunteers who took photos at events and to everyone who submitted photos for the yearbook! Due to the school closure, there were a number of group photos that were not taken. In addition, the yearbook company was closed until May 11th. As a result, production of the yearbook has been delayed. The yearbook committee, in conjunction with the H&S board, decided it was best to postpone yearbook distribution until August. Click the headline for more.

  • End of the Year

    Maplebrook families,

Where has the time gone? I remember Popsicles with the Principal like it was yesterday. That was a day full of excitement to begin the school year. Now at the end of this year I am filled with pride and appreciation. I am so honored to be Maplebrook’s principal.

Thank you for a wonderful and productive school year.  I can’t thank everyone enough for your endless hours of volunteering, chaperoning, reading, being a guest speaker, organizing, donating and doing whatever was necessary to support our students—both at home and at school.  Special thanks to our Home & School executive board and committee chairs who went above and beyond the call of duty to provide whatever was necessary to add to our students’ rich school experience.

I know this year couldn’t be as successful without the endless energy, skills and devotion of the Maplebrook staff.  They are an incredible group of professionals that continued to impress throughout the year.

Best wishes to our fifth graders, whom I will miss greatly—I hope they come back and visit.  Everyone have a safe and happy summer break. Until next school year, here’s wishing you laughter, fun and learning.

Thanks for the collaboration and support.

    Araceli Ordaz
