Attention Third Grade Families!
Intramurals are back!! For those of you who are new, Intramurals is basically before school PE. Each day, we will play a different PE game! Each grade gets 4 sessions from 7:30-8:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Your dates are: 12/11, 12/13, 12/18, 12/20. Please drop your students off in front of the school-they will then walk around the side of the school to door 15 and enter that door into the gym. Cold Weather - Student Drop off
As anticipated with cold weather comes long lines. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility as we look to get the line moving as quickly as possible. We encourage you to leave a few minutes earlier than you have in the past to make sure your student is on time to school. Cold Weather Recess

2024-2025 Kindergarten Preview
We will hold our annual Kindergarten Preview on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Maplebrook Elementary School. Children who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2024 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall. After School Chess
Chess Scholars returns to Maplebrook. Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of chess. Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.

Drawing Classes - Young Rembrandts
Grades K-5 Join us at Maplebrook! Here's an exciting experience for your imaginative child. This class will awaken the inner Artist! We explore all the basics of visual arts, basic drawing, portraits, action, and cartooning. Students complete several different projects and learn to draw whimsical characters, animals, everyday objects, and action scenes. Double your child’s creative spirit and art skills.
