Good afternoon. As we enter the winter and spring seasons, the school year tends to get a bit busier. Therefore, I will be sending home a monthly calendar including evening events, sports and club dates. I have attached the January and February calendars to this e-mail. Please note that there may be times where schedules are changed, so for the most up-to-date calendar information, please check the Jefferson website. Most evening events and sport schedules may also be found on the calendars your students brought home at the beginning of the school year.
Also attached to this e-mail is an informational flyer for an upcoming parent awareness event at NCHS co-hosted by JJHS counselors about teen anxiety and depression. This event will take place on Monday, January 23, 2017.
I hope your 2017 has started off well!

Please note that parents must have an Infinite Campus password before signing up for parent/teacher conferences. Please see Infinite Campus Frequently Asked Questions. 6) PTC Wizard will automatically send emails to parents after scheduling conferences. Parents should verify that their email address is correct on the Infinite Campus Portal site under the “Contact Preferences” section.
If you are unable to schedule conferences due to limited internet access, contact your school for assistance.
Esperamos verlos.

Dear Patriot Families,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write this introduction letter to you as the new Principal of Jefferson Junior High School. In the short few weeks since I have taken on this role, I have already learned that I have joined a caring staff, welcoming community, and dedicated school district. I promise to work hard and establish the relationships needed in order to continue the positive environment already established at Jefferson Junior High School.
The Jefferson community, staff and students will continue to focus on the mission of District 203: to produce students who are self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors. I know through working together as a staff with each of you as our partners, Jefferson students will succeed with the District’s mission. As Jefferson’s new principal, I look forward to meeting you and working along with you to establish a positive learning environment for your student.
I wish you a continued fun and relaxing summer. See you as we journey into the 2016-17 school year.
