• The Operations Department’s primary purpose is to support daily school operations so that schools can achieve the District’s mission.
    The Assistant Superintendents for Administrative Services are broken down by Elementary, Junior High, and High School to help principals maximize their schools’ performance – from school improvement to staffing to crisis response to community engagement and more. Additionally, the department helps coordinate communications about events at the schools to the broader public.
    The Operations Department is also responsible for supervising student discipline issues that come before the Board of Education, student residency and attendance boundary matters, and centralized enrollment, among others. All initial inquiries to the Operations Department, other than enrollment matters, should be directed to Ms. Margie Griffith, who can best direct them so they are answered in a timely and effective manner.
