Infrastructure Groups

The IT203 Infrastructure team provides enterprise-wide technology enablement for education in all classrooms, administrative areas, and support facilities at Naperville 203. The team consists of four groups which function together to provide seamless District support.
- The Network Operations Group provides engineering, administration and support for all aspects of technology services of Naperville 203, including data center administration and management. The span of responsibility includes LAN, WAN and Backup WAN, redundant and high availability in-house virtual servers and storage, redundant ISP connections, multi-layered data transport, cybersecurity and systems identity management.
- The Telecommunications and Special Projects Group provides District phones and phone service, security related support (cameras, bell systems, PA notifications), and additional low voltage product engineering for student/staff safety systems. This group is also the first point of contact for technology aspects of all Buildings and Grounds projects such as school entrance remodels, sound systems in sports competition areas, and other projects.
- The User Support Group consists of dedicated first level IT support assigned to each school (Computer Support Analysts) plus centralized second level engineering support (System Analysts) providing advanced project work and user support escalation.
- The Asset Management Group identifies, purchases, and tracks all physical technology components utilized at the District such as staff and student computers, projectors, servers, Network switches, etc. This team also manages licensing, purchases and vendors.
