AP Fall 2024 Classes

  • Registration Information For Teachers, Students, and Parents

    Dear AP Teachers, Students and parents,

    Please carefully read through this information regarding AP Exams.  With the volume of AP Exams that we give each year, it is essential that all teachers, students, and parents understand the registration process.


    General Information

    1. AP Exams will be held May 5-16, 2025 at Naperville North High School
    2. AP exam will cost $103.75
    3. AP $44.00 cancellation fee
    4. AP $40.00 non-refundable late registration fee 
    5. There are no refunds for unused tests
    6. We cannot accept any additional registrations after 6:00am on March 7th, 2025 due to the ordering process. All payments due by the registration deadline. Exams ordered and not paid for by this date will be canceled.

    Alternate Test Dates
    If a student wants to take two exams that are being offered at the same time, the system will accept the registration, however, one of the exams will become an “alternate exam”. The Testing Coordinator will determine which exam is to be the “alternate” and will inform the student of the time/date of the alternate exam. Keep in mind that the alternate exam dates are May 19-23, 2025


    Attendance on AP Exam Days
    Students will be excused periods 1-5 for a morning exam and periods 4-8 for an afternoon exam. Parents do not need to call the attendance office. Students are expected to attend school in the morning if they have an afternoon exam, or they are expected to attend school in the afternoon if they have a morning exam.

    All year-long and first semester classes must be ordered and paid in full by November 7, 2024

    November 8, 2024- March 7, 2025 by 6:00am

    $103.75 + $40 non-refundable late fee

    -Partial refund of $59.75 if canceled by May 1, 2025.

    -A $44 cancellation fee deducted from Exam Fee  -Late fee is NOT refundable

    March 7, 2025 at 6:01am -

    May 1, 2025

    Total Registration closed - Exams can no longer be ordered

    -Partial refund of $59.75 if canceled by May 1, 2024.

    -A $44 cancellation fee deducted from Exam Fee  -Late fee is NOT refundable

    Classes that begin on January 7, 2025

    March 7, 2025 by 6:00am

    $103.75

    Full refund if canceled by March 7, 2025 by 6:00am

    March 7, 2025 at 6:01am -    May 1, 2025

    Total Registration closed - no exams can be ordered

    -Partial Refund $59.75 if canceled by May 1, 2025.

    - A $44 cancellation fee deducted from Exam Fee

    First, students must log in to their College Board account and join their AP teacher(s) class in College Board:
    https://myap.collegeboard.org/login. Join codes are provided by your AP Teacher.

    Next, students will need to register and submit payment through Total Registration.  PLEASE NOTE: NNHS will not accept payment for AP exams. All payments must be made in Total Registration. Please plan accordingly.

    1. Total Registration - http://www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/143106. You will provide all registration information and indicate which exams you plan to take.
    2. Payment:
      • Credit card, or
      • Check or Money Order mailed to Total Registration
        • If you opt to mail your payment  you will need to follow the directions on the "Payment Stub" that you printed at the time of registration. If you did not print a payment stub, you can log in to www.TotalRegistration.net and click Make a Payment to either pay online or generate a new payment stub. Students will mail their payment (payable to Total Registration, LLC) with their Payment Stub to:

        • It is important that all checks include the Reference Number in the memo of the check. If you are not able to print a Payment Stub, please enclose a copy of your confirmation


    Failure to do both of these steps, will result in your AP exam not being ordered.
    Lastly, once you have made payment, please confirm your name on the AP Roster with your AP Teacher.


    Cancellation Policy

    • Last date for a Full refund of the exam fee: November 7, 2024
    • Last date for a partial refund of the exam fee less the $44 cancellation fee: May 1, 2025
    • Students need to request to cancel their exam through Total Registration or by submitting a written request to Ms. Bakshis, Testing Coordinator, no later than Monday April 28, 2025. 

     
    We encourage students NOT to cancel AP Exams because we believe the experience of taking the exam is a valuable culmination to the AP experience.
