Dear Huskie Parents and Community,
As principal of Naperville North High School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at North. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning and growing. It is our mission to help every student feel welcomed, connected, and a part of the Huskie family. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities and be college or career ready by the end of four years. At Naperville North, we have excellent teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement. We believe that all students should graduate from high school prepared for the demands of postsecondary education, meaningful careers and effective citizenship.
We hope that you will find our website helpful and informative. Our weekly newsletter, the Huskie Howler, is sent out on Monday mornings and is uploaded to the website for easy access in the Quick Links box. We also have a yearly calendar for NNHS that can be found at the top of the main page. Additionally, we have a Twitter account (@NNHSposey) that we will use to send out updates and highlights from North.
I am honored to serve as the principal of Naperville North High School. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social-emotional growth. Please feel free to contact me at 630-420-6454 or at sposey@naperville203.org
Once again, welcome back! Let’s make it another outstanding year at NNHS together!
Sincerely,
Stephanie Posey
