We believe it is the responsibility of our school district to offer students a diverse set of experiences and perspectives that will better prepare them to thrive in an inclusive, global community and world.

Diversity Advisory Committee
Naperville 203’s Diversity Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each school, the district office, and the Board of Education. School representatives include a parent/caregiver and a staff person. Dr. Rakeda Leaks, Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging serves as the committee lead. The purpose of the committee is to get community input and advice about issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Committee meetings are closed to the public. However, many topics addressed during the diversity committee meetings are also addressed during public meetings, such as our FOCUS 203 community sessions and school board updates.
