INCubatoredu Video

  • Naperville School District 203 offers students an authentic, collaborative entrepreneurship experience with INCubatoredu. Students at Naperville Central and Naperville North have the opportunity to journey through the entrepreneurial process with their own idea for a product or service. Entrepreneurs and business experts serve as volunteer coaches and mentors, guiding student teams through the Lean processes along with foundational business topics such as marketing and finance.

Volunteer Roles

  • Coach

     

    Subject matter expert who teaches a lesson, providing real-world context for a specific curricular area. (Time commitment: 1-3 class sessions per lesson for 2-3 class periods)

     

    Mentor

     

    Offer strategic guidance for one team throughout the entire process (Time commitment: Communicate weekly with a student team through face-to-face or virtual meetings and emails)

    Advisory Council

     

    Provide a strategic voice at the MVP Pitch, Final Academic Pitch, and Final Pitch Night. (Time commitment: 2 full days for student pitches and 1 evening for final pitch night)
