2024-2025 Important School Year Meal Updates
- Student meal accounts are automatically linked to the student ID#.
- Meal accounts do not require parental setup nor permission.
- The Illinois Hunger-Free Students’ Bill of Rights Act requires every school in the State to provide a federally reimbursable meal to a student who requests a meal, regardless of whether the student has the ability to pay for the meal or owes money for earlier meals.
- Parents should establish and routinely check their MySchoolBucks account and establish an understanding with their student to prevent eating school meals without parent permission. The school district is not responsible when students eat meals without parental permission. When this occurs, payment for those meals is required.
- Naperville 203 provides parent notifications once per semester if their student has a negative balance.
- All items served in the cafeteria have costs/ food items are no longer free.
- To avoid MySchoolBucks transaction fees, deposit a minimum of $100/per student transaction.
