Dr. Chala Holland, Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services

  • Chala began her career at Naperville 203 as the Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Services in July 2021.  Prior to Naperville 203, Chala was a history and social science teacher along with the Director of Academic Supports at Evanston Township High School, District 202; Assistant Principal at Oak Park & River Forest High School, District 200; and then Principal at Lake Forest High School, District 115.

     In her role, Dr. Holland is responsible for supporting and evaluations of the high schools, enrollment, student discipline, school improvement plans, centralized enrollment and residency, SRO/Police liaison, alternative attendance, stipend committee, ALOP and various district policy committees. What she enjoys most about her position is partnering with the school community to further educational innovation, support, and achievement across the district. She is excited to immerse herself in the school community -- to learn and to serve.

    Chala earned a BS in Secondary Education with a concentration in History from Northwestern University; an MA in Cultural and Social Foundations in Education from DePaul University; an Ed.D. in Urban Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago; and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago (pending)

    In her free time, Chala enjoys working out, sports, art, and music.
