Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC)

  • Naperville 203 launched the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) in the 2021-2022 school year. The council included student representatives from each grade level at all of our junior high schools and high schools, who engaged in learning and collaborative experiences focused on student belonging.

The objectives and desired outcomes of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council are:

    • To engage students in giving voice to their authentic experiences
    • To learn how to better assist and serve students’ authentic needs
    • To develop recommendations for improving the student experience
    • To serve as a model for building action-oriented student communities

In May 2024, the council provided Superintendent Bridges with an annual update regarding their 2022-23 recommendations to the Board of Education.
