Jayne Willard, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction

  • Jayne began her career at Naperville 203 as a third-grade teacher in 2003. She then moved to the district office to become a curriculum project manager and later advanced to become the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She has served as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction since July 2014. Prior to Naperville 203, Jayne was a teacher in Elmwood Park CUSD 401 and was a professional development consultant for the TIMS (Teaching Integrated Math and Science) Project at the University of Illinois at Chicago. 
     
    In her role, Jayne is responsible for leading and overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of curriculum and professional learning in the school district. What she enjoys most is the opportunity to lead and collaborate with dedicated and innovative educators in Naperville 203 to develop rigorous and relevant curriculum for all students. 
     
     
    Jayne earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Elmhurst College, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University, as well as a Master of Education in Curriculum and instruction and a Master of Education in Mathematics Education, both from National Louis University.
     
     
    Jayne is active in the community, volunteering for many organizations. Through her membership in the National Charity League of Naperville, a mother-daughter philanthropic organization, Jayne and her daughters volunteer at Gigi's Playhouse, Hesed House, and the Morton Arboretum. She also serves on the Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Literacy Fund grants committee. In her free time, Jayne enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
     
     
    Jayne and her husband John are both long-time residents of Naperville. They have three daughters Grace, Elizabeth, and Kate who all proudly attend or attended Naperville 203 schools.
