Bob Ross, Chief Operating Officer

  • Bob Ross began his career at Naperville 203 in 2006 as principal of Washington Junior High School and served the District as an Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education from 2012-2016.  As Chief Operating Officer, his responsibilities include assisting the Superintendent substantially and effectively in the task of providing leadership in developing, achieving and maintaining the best possible educational programs and services.  Bob serves in the absence of the superintendent as the chief administrative officer of the District.
    In addition to his responsibilities at the school district, Bob is a Riverwalk Commissioner for the City of Naperville and serves on the Worship Commission at his church, where he also is the head of the greeter (usher) ministry.
    Bob has a Bachelor of Arts in the Teaching of Social Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University.
    In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and golfing.
