Redhawk Preschool

  • About Preschool:

Redhawk Preschool is a laboratory school for our High School Early Childhood Education Students. The preschool teachers are high school students who have expressed an interest in working with young children, primarily in the fields of education, medicine and social services. The preschool is designed for children ages 3-5 and will focus on providing age-appropriate, hands-on activities in an environment that encourages the love of learning. We will present a well-planned, developmentally appropriate program to enrich and supplement the child’s home education. We will help your son or daughter develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.

Here is some general information about Redhawk Preschool:

    • Preschoolers should be 3 years old by September 1st, potty trained and speak English as their primary language.
    • We do not offer nap time at this preschool but we will serve a small healthy snack.
    • The preschoolers are taught daily lessons by the high school students who enroll in Early Childhood Education and are learning how to be teachers.
    • The fee is $200 for the entire school year. If possible, we will register your preschooler for the entire school year (Fall & Spring semester – beginning in September, ending in May).
    • Because our preschool is lab-based and runs through the high school, times and days vary from year to year depending on how many high school students sign up for the course. Some years we are able to offer both a Morning AND Afternoon preschool session; some years that is not that case. Please contact Melissa Keller for more information about the upcoming year (mkeller@naperville203.org)
