Learning Commons News & Announcements
Increase the diversity of your reading! Read a book from each monthly challenge and complete a short reflection form to enter into a monthly gift card. You can read the books in any order, and books don't have to be from the library. Class assigned books count, too!
We have many fiction and nonfiction stories that showcase inclusion. These stories are about people who have ability challenges, anxiety disorders, and physical challenges such as blindness. Maybe you can relate to some of the challenges! Check out our list of recommended titles. Many are available on Sora as ebooks as well. Click on the headline to get to the list.
Do you have a question about research, eBooks, using our databases, or anything else library-related? Email Mrs. Gottlieb or Mr. Hayward. We are generally online from 8 am - 2 pm M-F, and will respond to your email as soon as possible.
Tips for logging into Sora:
- Be sure to use all lower case for your last name
- If there is a Captcha box, check it before hitting enter.
You can log in but can't open your book? Try disconnecting and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi. If that still doesn't work, see if you can open it on another device, such as a PC, tablet or phone (you will need to download the Sora app from your app store for mobile devices).
