    Relevant degrees/life experience/previous volunteer activities:
    B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College – CUNY with a minor in Philosophy. I received my CPA while at Arthur Andersen & Co. and have a track record of proven results at Fortune 500 companies including JP Morgan, American Standard, and McDonald’s. Drawing on my experience in finance, strategy, and operations, I bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to every challenge. I have lived and traveled extensively overseas which gives me an appreciation for different cultures and solutions. I currently serve on the boards of the Alive Center, Accelerate Climate Solutions, and the River Prairie Group of the Sierra Club.

    Parent of one daughter who graduated from Naperville North High School.

    Educational philosophy: 
    I believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for future success in post-secondary education, the trades, or the military. Education should provide students with a wide range of skills to be successful in life such as critical thinking, communication, continuous learning, empathy, and community engagement.
