Naperville 203 Names Erin Rodriguez as New Principal of Naper Elementary
Naper Elementary School is proud to welcome Erin Rodriguez as its next principal. With nearly 20 years in education, Erin has been a teacher, Student Services Coordinator, and principal, dedicating her career to fostering strong relationships, student growth, and an inclusive school culture.
For the past four years, she has served as a principal, leading with a collaborative and student-centered approach. Before that, as a Student Services Coordinator, she worked to ensure students and families had the resources they needed to succeed. Her journey began in the classroom, teaching third and fourth grade, where she developed her passion for learning and leadership.
"Building strong relationships is at the heart of everything I do," Erin shared. "I firmly believe in collaboration to create an environment where all students can thrive."
A dedicated advocate for lifelong learning, Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and two Master’s degrees—one in Education with a Reading Specialist certification from Olivet Nazarene University and another in Education and Leadership from Aurora University. She began her career in Indian Prairie School District 204, later advancing into leadership roles before becoming a principal.
As a mother of three, Erin understands the importance of creating a positive and inclusive school culture—one that she would want her own children to be a part of. She looks forward to working with students, staff, and families to continue Naper Elementary’s legacy of excellence.
Welcome to Naper Elementary, Principal Rodriguez!
