Excellence in Education 2018

  • “There are individuals in this room that will change the world,” Superintendent Dan Bridges.

Naperville 203’s highest achieving academicians were honored at the annual Excellence in Education banquet. The event celebrates students’ academic success and the mentors who have helped them along their journey.

The 91 students honored wrote a few words about the impact of their most influential educator, which Principals Bill Wiesbrook (NCHS) and Stephanie Posey (NNHS) read aloud as both the student and teacher walked across the stage. Each student received a medal to commemorate their achievement to be worn at graduation.

This year, YangYang Li and Cairo Lawrence gave the student remarks for Naperville Central and Naperville North High Schools.

“Looking back the past four years, the moments that stand out the most are about kindness,” said Li.

“Finding our GO is a never ending journey,” said Lawrence. “Don’t strive to outshine, just shine.”

The Excellence in Education banquet is in partnership with the Board of Education and Naperville Education Foundation. #inspire203
