Excellence in Education 2019

  • Superintendent Dan Bridges challenged the students “to charge on with your learning and the opportunities in front of you. Use your gifts and talents to empower learning, innovation and life-changing discoveries. Strive for greatness and have the courage to support the people and relationships that helped you on your journey.”

Naperville 203’s highest achieving academicians were honored at the annual Excellence in Education banquet. The event celebrates students’ academic success and the mentors who have helped them along their journey.

The 100 students honored wrote a few words about the impact of their most influential educator, which Principals Bill Wiesbrook (NCHS) and Stephanie Posey (NNHS) read aloud as both the student and teacher walked across the stage. Each student received a medal to commemorate their achievement to be worn at graduation.

This year, Shoshanna Perchanok, from Naperville Central High School and Kierra Beeson from Naperville North High School spoke on behalf of the students.

The Excellence in Education banquet is in partnership with the Board of Education and Naperville Education Foundation. #empower203
