Current COD Information for Access and Accommodations and Placement Testing

  • COD Access and Accommodations is working on a virtual presentation, but it has not been finalized. In the meantime, the below information has been provided.

Typically, COD asks that students register for classes prior to requesting accommodations. After students have registered for classes, they can:

    • Go to cod.edu/access
    • Click on Request Accommodations
    • Complete the form
    • Upload disability documentation

Access and Accommodations office will then reach out to schedule a virtual intake meeting.

Placement tests are untimed, and Counseling & Advising is the office that would typically discuss this with students/advise whether or not they must be taken, etc.: https://www.cod.edu/student_life/resources/counseling/

Many of COD’s students with an IEP meet with Michael Duggan, Counselor for Students with Disabilities. Contact information for Michael Duggan: phone (630) 942-2845 or email duggan @cod.edu.
