    Committee Description
    Blood Drive This committee helps with registration, serving snacks and monitoring donors during a blood drive in the fall and again in the spring.
    Coffee with the Principal This committee coordinates with parents who open their homes to 10-15 people including our principal for an informal discussion of school-related topics. There are coffees in the fall for all NNHS parents and in the spring for incoming freshman parents.
    Dances (Homecoming & Spring) This committee decorates for the dance, performs check-in/check-out of the kids during dances and handles refreshments. Chaperoning is done by NNHS administration and not by this committee.
    EKG Screening This committee assists with EKG screenings of students at Naperville North. (Every other year)
    Family Connection This committee strives to meet the essential needs of NNHS families facing hardship by providing temporary means of support.
    Historian This committee clips newspaper articles celebrating “any-and-all-things NNHS” to submit to a scrapbook displayed in front office.
    Hospitality Inventory This committee purchases and distributes supplies for the various events held throughout the year.
    Mailings This committee helps prepare registration packets over the summer and as needed during the school year.
    Nominations This committee works to fill open board positions for the next school year.
    Parent Guide This committee works with building administration to update and edit the Parent Guide prior to posting.
    School Store This committee coordinates and staffs the school store which sells school supplies, spiritwear and other fun NNHS items before school and during the three lunch periods.
    Senior Celebration This committee plans and puts on this senior lock-in event which runs from Saturday night to Sunday morning. It is a must see event that is made up of hundreds of parent volunteer who transform the school into an unbelievable place where seniors can spend a memory-making, fun-filled evening with their classmates before they graduate. Parents are needed to plan, decorate before the event, run various activity stations during the event, rotate as a chaperone throughout the event monitoring entrances/exits.
    Staff Appreciation This committee works to celebrate our staff throughout the year.
    Student Registration This committee coordinates approximately 200 volunteers to help students through the August registration process.
    Teacher Breakfasts This committee helps serve and clean up breakfast for teachers on the mornings of Fall and Spring conferences.
    Tours Coordinate volunteers to offer personalized tours to prospective Huskie families. Tours are only offered when school is open during the school year.
    Vision & Hearing Screening This committee helps with some paperwork and ushering of students having their vision and hearing checked.
