Mrs. Leonard

My name is Meredith Leonard,  My love of working with children started very young as I realized how much I enjoyed babysitting/working summer camps, and how neither of those things ever felt like a job. From there I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood as well as my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  I taught in Pre-K programs for the last 10 years with Easter Seals and the Homewood School District. In 2014 I received my ELL endorsement from National Louis University. Outside of teaching, the rest of my time is spent with my family (my husband Tim, my children Nate and Hannah, and our rabbit Max).
