DID YOU KNOW.....
Playing is how children learn!
INFANTS:
Use your face and voice. Infants love to look at you and hear your voice. Sing, laugh, talk and play peek-a-boo. Take turns. Copy things that your baby does. Repeat things again and again. You can give your infant a strong start to life!
TODDLERS:
Toddlers play to explore and learn about the world. Provide simple and safe items like plastic cups and plates, pots and pans, books, blocks, boxes, crayons and play tools. Pretend play is one way children learn about difficult feelings like anger and fear.
Play is how young children begin to get ready for school. Let your child guide the activities. To get started with some ideas, click on the links for your child/ren's different age groups.
