Ms. Katrina Chipman

My name is Katrina Chipman. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University (NIU). I continued my studies at NIU and obtained my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In 2000, I began working in Naperville Community Unit School District #203 as a speech-language pathologist. I am licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. I currently work in the Phonological Classroom treating children with severe to profound speech disorders. In addition, I screen and evaluate children for communication disorders, and I service children receiving itinerant speech and language services. My goal in therapy is to create a warm, engaging environment where children are able to improve their speech and language skills, so they are confident and independent when they are communicating with peers and adults in their educational and social environments.
