Overview
-
Elmwood Elementary School was built in 1960 in the West Highlands area of Naperville. Classroom additions were completed in 1965, gymnasium addition in 2013, and classrooms with office space in 2017 to transform the building into a five-section school designed for approximately 700 students. The parents of this community have high expectations for the education of their children and place a high priority on involvement.
While the majority of the students attending Elmwood School live within walking distance, approximately 25% of our students ride to school on buses. Elmwood students continue their education at Lincoln Junior High School and Naperville Central High School.
