What is an "Exploratory"?

Incoming 6th graders are asked to pick 3 out of the 4 exploratory classes prior to school starting.

Exploratory classes available for 6th grade to choose from include Art, General Music, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), and Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS).

In the spring, 6th graders will register either for the Exploratory Rotation (Art, PLTW, FACS) or World Languages for 7th grade. Since World Languages is a 2-year program, whatever the student picks will be for 7th & 8th grade.
