  • Winter Weather and AM Drop-Off

As we head into winter and the inevitable snow and icy conditions, we are asking that families be extra careful when dropping off students in the morning. As I anticipate more families dropping off, it is important that we use all available drop off space to allow as many students as possible to exit their vehicles and head safely into the building. Lastly, please be cognizant of cars heading north on Charles and families crossing Charles when exiting the drop off lane. If we all work together, we will ensure a safe morning drop off for students.

  • Outside Recess Reminder

Students will participate in outside play whenever the wind chill is above 0 degrees. Please assist your child in dressing appropriately. In winter, students need boots and snow pants to play in the snow. Students not dressed in appropriate attire will be restricted to blacktop play only.

  • Important Drop off Information

The parent drop off zone, located along Charles Avenue, will be a fluid drop off lane where parents stay in their cars and students exit on the curb-side of the street. For safety reasons, children must enter and exit from the curbside only. When dropping off students, pull up as far as possible and let all of the children out of your car at the same time.
