What is the procedure that I need to follow if I need to bring in an item to my child?
Posted by:Should there be an occasion when it is necessary to drop something off for a student, parents should place the item on the appropriate grade level on the cart in the lobby and write the student’s name on the dry erase board. If the item(s) is monetary in nature or small in size, it should be dropped off at the main office. If students are expecting something to be dropped off, they should stop at the attendance window during passing periods and ask for assistance. The cart is pushed out to the cafeteria at 11am and remains there for the rest of the day.
Students are encouraged to develop routines which provide time to ensure they bring all necessary books, papers, lunches, etc. to school each day.

What is the role of the counselor for my student?
Posted by:Your student's counselor will be with them throughout their three-year Madison experience. Your student can go to the counselor for personal, group, academic and/or social issues. The counselor won't "fix" things for them, but will facilitate problem solving.
