Today’s book pick of the week is Love by Matt de la Peña and Loren Long.  Almost melancholic, the prose is spare and finds different ways to define love that sometimes go well beyond the constraints of a picture book. If you have students who need to see that love comes in different ways (spending time together, sharing memories, supporting each other), this book for K-5 (and grown ups too!)  demonstrates that love leaks its way into all the corners of your life, if you let it.
