Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Ellsworth! Every school year brings new and exciting learning opportunities for your children. Our focus is responding to each student by addressing the needs they have as unique learners in our school. Daily we strive to support each child to develop to his/her full potential through academic as well as social emotional goals. As always, the foundation of all we do is aimed at accomplishing the core of the District 203 mission statement; helping students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers, and community contributors. As well we work to make learning engaging and exciting for your child. As we work to meet these challenges we strive to maintain a balance between the academic and the social emotional needs of our students to develop well rounded citizens for our community. We recognize that these goals are achievable only through a strong partnership with parents. If at any time you have a concern, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher or me so that we can address your concerns in a timely manner. We value your opinions and appreciate the support and interest that you have in Ellsworth School.
We hope that this website contains information that is helpful to you. The Ellsworth website is filled with important information regarding procedures specific to Ellsworth School. The district website contains important information regarding district policies that apply to all District 203 schools. We encourage all parents to explore the websites.
When you have a question, please refer to this website or your copy of the student handbook. As always, if you have questions or comments regarding this website, the handbook or in general, please contact our school office at 420-6338, and we will be happy to help.
