Welcome to the 2025–2026 Kennedy Math Team!

We are excited to kick off another year of problem-solving, learning, and competition.

Coaching Team

• Head Coach: Haihui Niu, Illinois’ most experienced and successful math competition coach.
• Coaches: Ryan Kong and Ethan Zhang, students from Naperville Central High School with a strong background in math contests.
• Teaching Assistants: Willson Zhu, Chloe Ma, and Jayden Yang—all former Mathcounts winners and AIME qualifiers.

Fall 2025 Schedule

Our practices and exams will be held in the Learning Commons (LC) on Wednesday mornings from 7:00–7:50 AM on the following dates:

• October: 15, 22, 29
• November: 5, 12, 19
• December: 10, 17

That’s a total of 8 sessions this semester. These meetings are open to all students who enjoy math.

We will hold two exams. Based on the combined results, the top 20 students will be selected to represent Kennedy on the official Math Team. Update: The first exam was held on 10/22/2025 with 88 students taking it.

·        Mathcounts Chapter: February 2026

·        Mathcounts State Final: March 2026
