• Overview

     
    Support Personnel at Kennedy include the counselors, psychologist, social worker, a school resource officer and a speech and language pathologist.  They work cooperatively as a team to support student achievement academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.  In addition, they provide support to the teachers and parents of our students.   They support students within the framework of the social emotional learning standards, addressing the development of skills in the following areas:  self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, communication, interpersonal relationships, decision-making, and responsible behaviors. They foster school safety and security while providing personal safety related education and counseling to students and their families.
