The Learning Commons is the center of our school. All are welcome to browse, read, research and learn.  Our four pillars for the Commons include innovation and creation, communication and collaboration, inquiry and research, and literacy growth.

The Commons supports the curriculum as well as the recreational reading of our students and faculty by providing a large variety of resources.  Students visit the Literacy Lounge once a week through their LA class to enjoy independent reading and conferencing with their teacher.  The Learning Curve is a lecture space for over fifty students with stadium seating and its own sound system.  Collaboration is easy with our variety of tables that can accommodate small or large groups of students.  Our STEM Zone is a complement to our math and science classes and includes our green screen for video projects.

The Commons has a digital space as well!  Students can access our online catalog, Atriuum, at any time.  They can manage their accounts, browse the collection, place books on hold, and visit our eBook collection in Overdrive.  Madison students also have access to a collection of databases.  Our subscriptions coordinate with all curricular content. When students are at home, access to databases requires a password.  All students are a member of a Learning Commons Canvas course that contains the passwords under passwords and info on the main page.
