    Kingsley Trunk or Treat is returning for our third annual year! Please save the date on your calendar - Saturday, October 28th.

    Set up & Sensory Friendly trunk or treating will be from 4:30-5:00, and our Kingsley community is invited to participate from 5:00-6:00.

    Watch for a sign-up genius to come to sign up to be a "trunk" or to donate candy and trinkets.

    It is once again time to show our Kingsley staff how much we appreciate them!

     

    We're planning a pizza party! Home and School will provide pizza, we're asking you to look through the list and contribute salads, fruit, drinks and snacks to help show our appreciation!

     

    Please sign-up below and comment any details on item(s) you are donating. Food and drinks can be dropped off at Door 1 on Thursday, October 12th from 8-10 am. Donations can also be dropped off ahead of time at 315 Meadow Green Dr.

    We are looking for volunteers for this year's class parties.

     

    The class parties will be in the afternoon on:

    - Friday, October 31, 2023

    - Friday, December 22, 2023

    - Wednesday, February 14, 2024

     

    For the classroom parties, volunteers will work with the head room class parent to plan an activity (a craft or a game) for the students. Volunteers will be responsible for obtaining and/or purchasing materials needed to complete the activity.

    Head Room Parent - We are looking for (1) one parent from each class to take the lead and be the liaison for this year’s class parties along with other projects and events for the 2023-2024 school year. See the link for more detailed information.

     Read Below as to how you can be part of H&S and get involved in many areas of Kingsley School. 

    Kingsley Home & School is a parent-driven, volunteer-based organization – and as a parents/guardians of

    Kingsley students, you are automatically members! The volunteer opportunities below are representative
    of the different kinds of help we need during the school year. There are volunteer opportunities for every
    schedule and amount of availability; some can be done at home in the evenings, or with young kids at
    home!
    5th Grade Rep Help with the 5th grade t-shirts and end of the year party for the 5th graders.
    Bake Sale Provide cookies, cupcake, brownies, and other treats; sell treats during bake
    sales.
    Book Fair Set up and/or tear down the book fair; assist younger students with making
    wish lists; ring up purchases; bag purchases.
    Cards for Knights Assist with sorting and labeling gift card orders.
    Classroom Parties Head Room Parent: coordinate the party volunteers for all three parties in
    their child’s classroom.
    Party volunteer: coordinate a game or craft for their child’s class party.
    Dining out Days Contact local restaurants and set up fundraiser events for the Kingsley
    community
    Field Day Help with a station or class during Field Day
    Holiday Store Assist students in choosing gifts and managing their money; ring up
    students’ purchases; wrap and label students’ purchases.
    Ice Cream Social Help with ticket sales; assist with event activities.
    Movie Night
    Kingsley Spring event
    Help sell pizza and other concessions during movie night.
    Help with soliciting donations; wrap baskets/auction items; set-up/tear
    down; ticket/food sales; coordinate activities during the event.
    Spirit Wear
    Staff appreciation
    Supply Packets
    Coordinate with vendor for Kingsley gear
    Help celebrate staff during various weeks, teacher meals during conferences
    and teacher appreciation week
    Assist with supply packet distribution and school day sales.
    Yearbook Take pictures at class parties, the winter program, and other school events.
    The committee chairs are responsible for coordinating volunteers for their committees. More information
    will be sent out at the beginning of the school year asking for your interest in helping with these
