Library Policies

LC hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 3:10 p.m. when school is in session. The LC is also available for quiet reading or individual homework before school each morning. Students may enter the building at 7:30, must come prepared, and sit quietly and read or work on homework. If students need to work in the collaboration rooms they will need a pass from their teacher.

Our LC contains over 10,000 volumes, as well as books on tape and CD’s. District 203 schools use a circulation system called Atriuum, which is web based, allowing for access to our collection from both home and school. Students visit the LRC every two weeks through their English Language Arts class and are allowed to check out two library books. Books are checked out for three weeks and can be renewed once for an additional three weeks. If books are lost or damaged beyond repair, students will be charged the replacement cost of the book. All fines and fees must be paid before the last day of school.
