    Membership:

All parents and/or guardians of WJHS students, and all current staff, are members of the WJHS Home & School and of the Naperville District 203 General Home & School Association.

    Mission:

The mission of the Washington Junior High Home and School Association is to encourage collaboration among students, families, staff, and community members to fulfill the District 203 mission and to enhance the school experience of each student in the school by fostering relationships among these groups and initiating/ supporting programming that aims to achieve these goals.

    Fundraising:

The main fundraiser at WJHS, and at all of the junior high schools in District 203, is the Fall Fundraiser held at the beginning of the school year. We depend on the revenue from the Fall Fundraiser to help fund many programs, which enhance your students' experience at WJHS. Some of these programs include: the annual school musical, 8th grade celebration, student awards and recognition, field trips, sports uniforms, student directory, school supplies and other improvements at WJHS. Please encourage your student to participate in our Magazine Drive!

    Home & School Meetings:

Our Home and School Board meetings are held once a month in the WJHS conference room, which is located near the office.  We try to keep our meeting length to one hour.

Please click HERE for the 2024-2025 meeting dates.  Everyone is welcome!

    Communication:

WJHS’s Home & School publishes updates in the “Wildcat Weekly”, an informational newsletter about current and upcoming events at WJHS, at least 5 times each year. “Wildcat Weekly” is sent out via email to every WJHS family.  In addition, please search "WJHS Home and School Association" on Facebook and "like" and "follow."
