School Family Community Partnership (SFCP)

  • SFCP Our mission at Madison is to enhance our children's learning and development by being a proactive resource in promoting, strengthening and celebrating the partnership that exists between Schools, Families and the Naperville Community.

We are a team of parents, teachers, and administrators reaching out to our families and the community with programs and events that will benefit our children's education. At Madison we operate as an integral part of the Home & School Association and are responsible for the creation of many of our most successful programs. For example, SFCP developed or helped develop the following programs:

    Team Parents

The primary link between our families and our educators. Work closely with the Team Leaders to provide community and parent support when our teachers (and therefore our children) need it. Also serve as a parent point of contact for any general school questions.

    Principal and BOE Coffees

An outstanding opportunity to meet and talk with our Principal and other members of District 203 in a small-group, informal setting. We try to schedule a variety of times so that everybody has a chance to attend one or more coffees.

    Sixth Grade Welcome Mixer

In the early fall we welcome sixth graders and their families to Madison with a beginning of the year mixer. No conferences, speeches, or meetings; just a chance to make our new families feel welcome and meet their new teachers in a casual setting.

    Family Connections

A school based assistance program to address a variety of needs, both financial and material, which cannot be met through conventional methods.

     Parent Study Skills

A program that gives parents useful tools that help them help their children with their study habits.

     Parent Huddles

Informal parent get-togethers that allow families to get together in an informal setting to discuss specific subjects with their peers.
    It's up to you…
The key to successful programs like these is people with vision and imagination. If you can dream up ideas that will help ours kids, then this might be for you.
You can contact the President or any SFCP rep listed on the H&S Member List for more info.
