February is the month for friendship and love, and one of the things we love about our school is the great diversity we have and appreciate in our school. We continue to celebrate our diversity and work as a staff to meet the social emotional and academic needs of each student. This year our staff has been participating in professional learning about math instruction in our classrooms. On February 2nd Dan Finkel, a math consultant, will be working with several of our grade levels. Dan has devoted much of his life to understanding and teaching the motivation, history, aesthetics, and deep structure of mathematics. His goal is to give everyone a chance to fall in love with mathematics. Please click on the links below to see what our teachers have been learning:
Thank you to Home and School for the Great Kindness Challenge Week. Students and families enjoyed the activities and spreading kindness throughout the school and our community!
