Welcome to an exciting year at Ann Reid Early Childhood Center.
I am very eager to work with such an incredible collection of students, families, staff and communities. I am proud to represent Naperville 203 and work to better the future of our community. I received my degree in early childhood education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My student teacher experiences allowed me to work with children from infants to grade three. From there I was hired to be an early childhood teacher in Joliet, IL. There I learned to love different cultures and I yearn to learn more each day. Please feel free to share yours with the Ann Reid Family.
I received my master’s degree from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL. I first used my master’s degree as assistant principal at Wolf’s Crossing Elementary School. Prior to joining the Ann Reid family, I was the principal of Brokaw Early Learning Center in Oswego, IL. There we provided a high quality early learning program that won multiple Gold Circles of Quality.
I strive to learn and improve with each school year, and I am excited to continue my passion in early childhood and working with the future of the district. Ann Reid’s high academic expectations and intrinsic will to build a partnership with families coincide with my educational creed. Feel free to contact me or Ann Reid’s office to arrange a tour of the building and to hear about the variety of opportunities we offer children and their families. We look forward to meeting you.
