Welcome to Elmwood Elementary School and the 2018 -2019 school year! The Elmwood staff and I are looking forward to seeing all of you in August for another outstanding school year. Please note that that this letter and packet of information is only being sent to each individual Elmwood family and not to each individual student.
If you are new to Elmwood, I encourage you to attend the new family tours. The tours will be held on Monday, August 13th at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please meet in the Multipurpose Room. During this time, families new to Elmwood will have the opportunity to receive a tour of the building, meet other Elmwood families and have questions answered as we assist you in your transition to your new school.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
Because there is no adult supervision outside before 8:00 a.m., we request that no students be dropped off before that time. If you drop your child off after 8:15 a.m., you must sign them in at the Main Office. Students will not be allowed to go to class if they arrive after 8:15 a.m. without an adult signing them in.
All (K-5) driving parents are encouraged to use our two car drop off lanes in the morning. Your child can be dropped off on Elmwood Drive (by the gym) or on Sycamore Drive (by the garden) in the morning. Students can be picked up in the afternoon on Sycamore Drive ONLY.
