Andrea Szczepanski Named Principal of Lincoln Junior High School


At the Board of Education meeting on June 7, 2021, Mrs. Andrea Szczepanski was appointed Principal of Lincoln Junior High School for the 2021-2022 school year.  Mrs. Szczepanski replaces Patrick Gaskin who is moving to Kennedy Junior High School.

“Mrs. Szczepanski has proven her leadership strengths in the many roles she has held in the District over her career,” said Superintendent Dan Bridges.  “From serving as Assistant Principal at both Lincoln and Madison Junior High Schools, to Director of Junior High Summer Learning, Andrea has an incredible depth of knowledge in school improvement with data-driven decision making.”

Mrs. Szczepanski has over 20 years of education experience most recently as Assistant Principal of Madison and Lincoln Junior High Schools.  She also served as the Junior High Summer School Director, as well as serving as principal during instruction.  She was also an Instructional Coordinator for the CTE Department and a Business Education Teacher at Naperville Central High School.  Prior to her time in education, Mrs. Szczepanski was a computer software trainer and technical writer for Catapult, Inc. (IBM Global) and CompUSA.

I am thankful for the opportunity to return to the Lincoln Junior High School Community to serve as Principal,” said Mrs. Szczepanski.  “I am honored to have the privilege to work with the staff, students, and community in this capacity.”

Mrs. Szczepanski has a B.S. degree in Business Teacher Education from Central Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from North Central College.
