Highlights from the November 16, 2020 Board of Education meeting include:
Due to current conditions and mitigations placed on our region by the Illinois Department of Public Health and in accordance with guidance provided by the Governor’s Office, the DuPage County Health Department, and Naperville 203’s legal counsel, the November 16, 2020 Board of Education meeting was held virtually. Current Tier 2 resurgence mitigations require meetings to be limited to 10 individuals. Public comment is accepted electronically and all comments received are posted in BoardDocs under public comment.

Return to Learn Update - District administration updated the Board on the Return to Learn plan including metrics involved in the decision to stay in Stage 2 Enhanced eLearning.
Five Year Financial Forecast - Chief Financial Officer, Mike Frances presented the Five Year Financial Forecast to the Board. This presentation highlights a comprehensive, interactive, planning process that assists the District in making important financial decisions.
Student Discipline Report - Principal Nancy Voise presented the Student Discipline Report that shared demographic trends in the suspension data from 2013-2019 including a review of behaviors resulting in suspensions at the junior high and high school levels, and areas of growth and areas for growth within the suspension data.
The Board held a discussion without action on the 2020 Tax Levy Determination.
The Board held discussion with action and approved Consideration of Board of Education Expenses and Capital Improvement plan.
