Highlights from the August 17, 2020 Board of Education meeting include:
The members of the Board of Education did not meet in person, but via an online conference system and meeting was live streamed for the public.
The Board members took action by consent on Bills and Claims, Adoption of Personnel Report, Board meeting minutes, and Health Benefits Recommendation.
Superintendent Bridges presented an update to the Return to Learn 2.0 plan including referencing specific new guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health around mask wearing, symptom monitoring and cleaning procedures. Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Chuck Freundt provided an update on childcare, enrollment, and community partnerships.
The Board held discussion with action and approved a Resolution Affirming the Authority of the Superintendent to Implement Return to Learn Plan for 2020-20201 School year.
