Ranch View Elementary School Principal Announcement

Andria Mitchell to be Appointed as Principal of Ranch View Elementary School Pending Board of Education Approval

Pending approval at the next scheduled meeting on April 20, 2020, the Naperville Community Unit School District 203 Board of Education will approve Mrs. Andria Mitchell as principal of Ranch View Elementary School. 

“Mrs. Mitchell is a focused professional with over eleven years of experience in administration,” said Superintendent Dan Bridges.  “Her demonstrated leadership, teamwork and problem-solving abilities will make her an asset to Ranch View and to the greater Naperville 203 educational community.”

Mrs. Mitchell is a seasoned building administrator having held two principal positions during her career including Tyler Elementary School and Gwendolyn Brooks Elementary School both in DeKalb, Illinois.  In her position as principal, she cultivated an environment that encouraged open communication with stakeholders, created and implemented building school improvement plans, worked as a partner with parent community groups, among many other duties.  Prior to becoming a principal, Mrs. Mitchell was an elementary educator where she planned, prepared, and delivered instruction to general and special education students.

“It is with great pleasure that I take on the Principal role at Ranch View Elementary School,” said Mrs. Mitchell.  “With a student centered focus and strong community involvement, I look forward to getting to know the students, staff and community at Ranch View.”

Mrs. Mitchell has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Jackson State University and a M.S. in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University.  Mrs. Mitchell will begin her new role at Ranch View Elementary School on July 1, 2020 and will replace Principal Angela Stallion.
