Naperville 203 Honors Veterans

Annually Naperville 203 uses Veterans Day to honor our veterans in our community veterans. The day kicked off with a breakfast at the District administration building for all Naperville service men and women. After a welcome from Superintendent Dan Bridges, veteran Ken Garhan let the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Students from Ranch View Elementary School read original patriotic readings including fourth grader James Ball, and fifth graders Nina George and Carly Onorati. Finally, Nina Petru of the Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 gave closing remarks.

After breakfast, the veterans dispersed for assemblies at the buildings. Throughout the morning, all 22 schools honored our local veterans through song, patriotic readings, and school assemblies.
