Highlights from the March 4, 2019 Board of Education meeting include:
Kingsley Elementary School Principal Erin Marker presented the School Improvement Plan with a focus on MTSS. The school improvement process is based on data informed decision making and builds a climate of trust, respect and collaboration.
The Board heard without action information regarding transfer of funds from education to debt service, 2018 debt service tax levy abatement, and authorization to reduce 2018 aggregate extension.
Jayne Willard, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction updated the Board on new course proposals. They reviewed the course audit process and new course pathways including communication arts, math, and career and technical education high school courses.
Jennifer Donatelli, Director of Curriculum updated the BOE on K-12 Instructional Resource Recommendation for Approval at the next meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Nancy Voise presented EC - 12 Certified and District SPED Staffing Projections.
