Naperville 203 Welcomes Britta Waszak as Principal of Ellsworth School
Naperville Community Unit School District 203 is pleased to announce that Britta Waszak has been approved by the Board of Education to serve as the next principal of Ellsworth Elementary School.
Ms. Waszak brings a strong background in both classroom teaching and educational leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from North Central College.
Her career in education began in 2011 as an elementary classroom teacher in Oswego School District 308, later teaching in Lombard School District 44. Ms. Waszak then advanced into administrative roles, serving as an Elementary Assistant Principal in Westmont School District 201 for two years and as a Principal in Downers Grove School District 58 for three years. She has also contributed to the growth of future school leaders through her work as a coach in the Learning While Leading Program.
Naperville 203 looks forward to the leadership, dedication, and collaborative spirit Ms. Waszak will bring to the Ellsworth community. Under her guidance, Ellsworth will continue to provide a supportive, high-quality educational environment focused on student success and strong partnerships with families.
