Beebe Elementary Welcomes New Principal Marybeth Peterson

Naperville 203 is excited to announce the appointment of Marybeth Peterson as the new principal of Beebe Elementary School. Approved by the Board of Education, Mrs. Peterson brings a wealth of experience, a passion for student success, and a special connection to the Beebe community.

Mrs. Peterson’s career in education began at Beebe Elementary, where she completed her student teaching in a second-grade classroom. Her experience there left a lasting impression and sparked a deep commitment to public education. Now, years later, she returns to the very school where her journey began—this time as its leader.

After completing her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from North Central College, Mrs. Peterson began her professional teaching career in Woodridge School District 68. She then spent twelve years as an elementary classroom teacher in Lisle School District 202, where she built strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues while honing her instructional leadership skills. Most recently, she has served as Assistant Principal at Maplebrook Elementary School in Naperville 203 for the past three years.

In addition to her practical experience, Mrs. Peterson holds two master's degrees from Concordia University: one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in Educational Leadership. Her academic background and years of classroom and administrative service have prepared her well to step into this new role.

Naperville 203 is proud to welcome Mrs. Peterson back to the Beebe community. Her return not only represents a homecoming but also signals a continued commitment to excellence and student growth.
